There are two main categories of hearth pads, depending on your MF Fire stove configuration:
- Type 1 Hearth Pads (Ember Protection only) are designed for ember protection, shielding your floor from sparks and hot embers in front of the stove. For most configurations, this is all you need.
- Type 2 Hearth Pads (Ember and Thermal Protection) provide both ember protection and thermal insulation, reducing heat transfer to combustible floors where required. Type 2 pads can be used when only Type 1 is required.

Designed for MF Fire wood stoves, these hearth pads provide a clean, stable, and protective surface that looks as good as it performs.
Type 1 Hearth Pads
- Built with 1/8″ (10 gauge) steel to prevent bowing
- Powder coated (both sides)
- Low profile
- The Bench hearth pad is made of two steel pieces that set against each other. A minor seam is noticeable.
Type 2 Hearth Pads
All of the Type 2 Hearth Pads listed have an R-value of 2.2, exceeding the minimum floor protection requirements of our product. If you plan to install your Nova 2 on 3″ legs, without an ash lip, and in the corner of your room, please email our team at [email protected] to receive a quote for the proper hearth pad.
